Infosys Pivots to AI Marketing With Aster as Founders Bet on Agentic Convergence
Infosys detailed a repositioning beyond traditional IT services on July 10, 2026, launching Infosys Aster, an AI-powered marketing platform aimed at chief marketing officers, according to Complete AI Training. The suite combines generative AI, agentic AI, customer intelligence, and marketing automation, integrates with platforms including Adobe, SAP Commerce, Sitecore, and Optimizely, and, per the company, already enables Fortune 100 clients to deploy predictive marketing analytics and autonomous customer engagement. Infosys says its brand now ranks among the world's Top 100, operating in 59 countries with clients across 63.
The strategic logic behind such moves got a broader articulation from entrepreneur James Deller in a piece distributed via FinancialContent, in which the 1Touch Development founder argues that the next wave of innovation will come from the convergence of data, large language models, computer vision, predictive analytics, and agentic AI systems. "AI is only as powerful as the data behind it," Deller said, contending that the organizations that succeed will build intelligent systems where those components work together rather than simply using AI in isolation.
