Microsoft has pledged US$17.5 billion to expand its AI cloud infrastructure in India, according to a company announcement. This investment aims to bolster the country's growing technology sector, which includes major technology services providers such as Tata Consultancy Services and Infosys.

Arm CEO Rene Haas predicts physical AI robots will automate "large sections" of factory work within the next decade. Haas, speaking at Fortune's Brainstorm AI, suggested that reprogrammable humanoid robots could reshape global manufacturing.
