Microsoft Forms 6,000-Person AI Deployment Division as China's Microdramas Turn 95 Percent AI-Generated
Microsoft established a new division staffed by 6,000 employees to help businesses with the technical and strategic work of deploying artificial intelligence, per Complete Ai Training. Judson Althoff, CEO of Microsoft's commercial business, said the idea came in part from customer concerns about the ballooning costs of AI, and the customer-embedded model follows a path popularized by Palantir and since adopted by Salesforce, OpenAI, and Amazon's cloud unit.
A study published in PLOS One found voters rate AI-generated debate answers as more authentic and relevant than the actual answers given by real politicians, based on material drawn from the British political debate program Question Time, per Psypost, which noted the findings underscore how easily the technology could be used to mimic public figures and spread misinformation voters readily believe.
